WHETHER YOU TURN TO THE RIGHT OR TO THE LEFT – Isaiah 30:21

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”   Isaiah 30:21

I trust you Lord for each day of life, grateful for every breath, determined to look for Your blessing in the moment, no matter what the circumstances. I follow Your lead Lord, even when I cannot see where I am going, because deep within my spirit I know that these simple steps of faith are preparing me for the calling you have for my life and for eternity.

As Christians we want to be in the center of God’s will. That is why we should not pursue a move without the knowledge that it is the will of God. We must regularly ask God to show us what His will is and to lead us in it. We must ask the Lord to speak to our heart so He can tell us where He wants to guide us.

The best way to start seeking the Will of God for our lives is “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”  (1 Thess. 5:18). Thank the Lord for keeping us in the center of His will. Then we should ask Him to guide our every step. This will give us the peace of mind and the confidence to know that we are on the right path and under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

We all have a call from Abba Father on our life. Are we going to listen to find out what it is? If we have never sought our heavenly Father about His plans and purposes for our life, we need to do that. We need to know that He will not leave us where we are forever. We need to seek His direction for our life and listen for the call.

Lord, I know You have great purpose for me and a plan for my life. Open my ears to hear Your voice leading me into all You have for my life. Align my heart with Yours and prepare me to understand where You would have me to go and what You would have me to do.

Help me to hear Your call. I will eagerly listen for Your voice. I want You to fill me with your greatness so that I may do great things for others as You have called me to do. I commit to walking step by step with You so that I may fully become all that You have made me to be.

Speak to me from Your Word so that I will have understanding. If there is something I should be doing, reveal it to me. I want to move into all You have for me and become all You made me to be by walking in Your perfect will for my life.

Lord, I depend on You for everything, I give up my independence. Help me to get beyond myself and become an open vessel through which Your light can shine. Give me Your wisdom and revelation and show me all I need to learn to keep me on the road You have for me. Enable me to step out of my past and keep an eye on my eternal future with You. Help me to follow You as You light my path each day.
